This Privacy Policy describes how LECODE INFORMATICA LTDA ("LeCode", "we") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you access our website or use our services, in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, "LGPD").

We are the controller of the personal data collected through this website.

2.1. Data you provide
When you fill out the contact form on our site, we collect:
- Full name
- Work email
- Company
- Role
- Message or project description
2.2. Navigation data
We automatically collect some data when you browse the site, in order to improve your experience and understand overall platform usage:
- IP address (anonymized)
- Browser type, operating system, and device
- Pages visited, session duration, and navigation flow
- Source of access (referring site)
- Preferences stored locally in your browser (language and theme)
3. Purpose of use
We use your personal data exclusively to:
- Respond to inquiries submitted through the form
- Prepare commercial proposals aligned with your scope
- Establish business contact and follow up on negotiations
- Analyze aggregate site usage statistics, without identifying individuals

LeCode does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We share data only with:
- Essential service providers — such as hosting, CDN, and email tools, who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data protection agreements
- Analytics tools — we use (or intend to use) Google Analytics for traffic analysis, with IP anonymization and no individual identification
- Competent authorities — when required by court order, subpoena, or legal obligation
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage (localStorage) to improve your experience:
- Essential — to remember your language and theme preferences (no tracking)
- Analytical — to understand how the site is used in aggregate (Google Analytics, with anonymized IP)
You may disable cookies at any time in your browser settings. Disabling analytical cookies does not affect the essential functionality of the site.
7. Data retention
We retain your personal data only for the period necessary to fulfill the described purposes:
- Leads (form submitted without subsequent contract): up to 24 months without further interaction, after which data is automatically deleted
- Active clients: throughout the contract term and for 5 additional years after termination, in accordance with applicable tax law and statutes of limitation
- Navigation data: up to 14 months, per Google Analytics defaults
8. Security
We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) across the entire site
- Access restricted to authorized personnel trained in data protection
- Storage with providers holding internationally recognized security certifications
- Continuous monitoring and periodic review of security practices
In case of a security incident that may pose risk to data subjects, we will notify those affected and the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) within a reasonable timeframe, as required by LGPD.

As a data subject, LGPD grants you the following rights (Art. 18):

- Opposition to processing in non-compliance with LGPD

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or site features. Significant changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice, and the date of the last update will always be displayed at the top of this document.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Montes Claros — MG, except for the consumer's right to choose the courts of their own domicile.
